All tours pass acres of mangrove islands, shell islands created by indigenous Creek and Seminole Native Americans, Bird Island and the World Famous "Monkey Island"!
You will see the water change from deep dark browns, to greens, and then crystal-clear spring water! The Homosassa Spring is a "First-Magnitude Spring", discharging 65 million gallons of water from our aquafer. The constant 72-degree temperature is the "perfect" winter home to Manatees.
